My management company is
A-List Entertainment. They have been with me right from the start. Basically a family business run by my manager Artie Laing Jnr. The entire office staff is fantastic and they really do care about the people they represent. They look after quite a few comedians, so if you wanna start a comedy night at your venue, book an act, or just into comedy, check out this site.

If you're a fan of mine, then you are certainly a fan of
Blokesworld. Ado & Benwah are just two average Aussie blokes who are living the dream. Hanging out in titty bars, drinking. They defied the critics and created their own T.V. show without any skill, know how, or talent. The show now has a cult following, and you may even see me pop up occassionally in the next series, just to reinforce the "no talent" aspect.

I'd say one of the weirdest acts I've had the pleasure of working with would be
Mr. Methane. We have worked together every time he has toured Oz, and he has become a great mate. His performing credits include: Howard Stern, Jay Lenno, The Footy Show, and outback Australia with me. I can tell you first hand that his act is 100% real. Check out the windiest site on the web.

When I'm in Brisbane, the only place to go is
The Sit Down Comedy Clubin Paddington. Located in the bowels of the Paddo Tavern, its a great venue in a great location. The staff are always happy, and you'll see Australia's best comedians all perform there on different occassions. After the show you can always sit down for a beer upstairs with the acts you've just seen and enjoy some live music til the early hours, or take a short trip to Caxton Street and party hard.

One of my favorite venues in Sydney would have to be
The Laugh Garage in Parramatta. Owned and run by Darren Sanders, himself a headlining comedian, it is set up specifically for the purposes of stand up comedy. Being owned by working comedians makes all the difference. They have great deals with local eatery's and you can see a different show there every weekend, with great acts like Jimeoin, Steady Eddy, Gary Who, and sometimes even me.

A great place to watch stand up comedy in Melbourne would have to be
The last Laugh At The Comedy Club. Right in the heart of the city in Collins Street, it has a great atmosphere, and a fantastic young crew. Wayne, Toula, and the staff always make you feel very welcome. Dinner and show packages are available, and its a different show each weekend. The V.B's always cold, and you'll always see one of the country's best on the stage.

One of Australia's prettiest model/actress' is
Annalise Braakensiek. A great mate of mine from the Fat Pizza days, and a truely wonderful person. As an amazing vegeterian cook, she, (and her husband Danny), cooked me back to health when I'd let myself go a while back. Besides, it wouldn't be very blokey of me if I didn't have a link to a pretty girl!

There's a good mate of mine in country Victoria,
Simon Fiske, who makes great furniture out of 44 gallon drums. He's got great, very comfortable chairs, and even a table that holds a couple of cartons on ice, with a wine cooler in the middle for the ladies. He,s got couches, bar stools, and a great bar-b-que spit. Check it out.

Although there are many, the one charity I try to be actively involved with on a regular basis is
Open Family. Starting in 1978, with such prominent youth workers as Rev Bob Maguire (or "Father Bob" as he is known), and Les Twentyman, Open Family works tirelessly to give help and hope to Australia's homeless and wayward youth.

One of the pioneers of Aussie comedy from the early 90's is a man I'm proud to call my friend,
Steady Eddy. He has overcome the difficulties of cerebal palsy to remain at the top of his craft for nearly 20 years. He's been a great mate for the past 10 years, (I was even flower girl at his wedding). We've been drunk together on more occassions than either of us can remember, and now we're both non drinkers. We've toured Australia together on numerous occassions and drunk or sober, it's always a great time. Check out the site of this comedy icon, see what he's up to and drop him a line. If you do, tell him I said "G'day".

If you're looking for a home loan and aren't too sure where to start,
Touchstone Financial might just be the people for you. Trevor and Jodie McBride head up the professional team at touchstone that helped Jo and I secure our fantastic new home. It's a company with good old fashioned honesty at the core of the business and they will always have the investors best interest at heart.

It has over 20km's of bush walks through a great mix of tropical forrest and Australian bush. You can hand feed Lorikeets and Kookaburras, hire a mini moke to get around the 10km's of road, hire a jet ski or take off in the only floating Bi-Plane in the world.
